Essure Permanent BC

I am wondering if there are any recent reviews of the Essure procedure?  It is something I am considering so I am wondering if anyone around here has had it done recently and/or how the procedure went, any side effects you've noticed, if it has been effective, what did you use for BC before the efficacy was tested, etc.

I'm going to my OB/Gyn this afternoon and will be discussing it with her.
