I am looking to use a reasonably priced photgrapher for Madison's one year, I want some family pictures too and I am not interested in using a studio like I have in the past.

Here's one! She's great and also does locations like your asking (Fort Hunter, City Island, your backyard, park, etc). She takes her time and takes a lot of shots.  I really love her work.  She did Hannah's newborn pictures and a few of my other friends went to her as well.  I'm sure you won't be disappointed with her work.

I second the Elaine Gates recommendation.

 

We like Scott Church since he is closer to us and charges a flat fee and gives us the rights.

 

Also, check out Jessica Rittler. She is really great with kids.

A lot of my friends in the area have used Elaine Gates and had wonderful results. We also plan on using her for our baby's newborn pics.

I stumbled upon this post and have been meaning to set something up with Scott Church for a while, so I just set up family pictures for August...thanks to all of the posters who mentioned him!!!  We are so excited!

Hey angelluver! I cannot believe Madison is almost 1 year old! Here is our photographer- he does a great job! He also gives you rights to your photos so you can print and upload to any site.
