For me! I'm miserable and I have no time this week to be sick. I'm observing a kindergarten program for Trev in the am and then I have his IEP meeting on Thursday.
Have you JUST started feeling sick?? I swear by Airborne...I plop one in a glass of water right when I start feeling that weird feeling in the back of my throat, then another one the next morning and one again that afternoon or night.
It has kept me from getting sick several times, or getting it as badly.

Going to tell DH to pick up some of that in the am. I picked up the kids cold. Thanks for the suggestion.
Neti Pot! Lots of Orange Juice (Vitamin C) and Sudafed.
The Neti Pot . . . I'll do just about anything. Can you get one of those at the pharmacy?
Yes and they are cheap and so easy to use. It works wonders, but you have to do it morning and night and it takes a couple of days for everything to clear up, but it's amazing. (and no medicine involved).
I have heard that when you feel yourself getting sick you should gargle with water/hydrogen peroxide and then clean out your ears and nostrils with hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip. I have yet to try it though so who knows???
