2nd Trimester

Anyone still throwing up at 17+ weeks?

I feel horrible and am ready for these random throw ups to stop . . .anyone in the same boat?

Re: Anyone still throwing up at 17+ weeks?

  • UGH!!! yes I was still throwing up at 17 weeks but at this point it was only when I brushed my teeth. That was a few times then it went away altogether.  I thought I was going to be one of those unlucky women who was going to throw up all through my pregnancy. Wink

My first trimester I literally spent in bed.  If I got up and started trying to clean or move around a lot, it feft like I was on a roller coaster and I would  get sick right away!!! To me it was a horrible experience.  Thank God it is now a thing of the past. Hang in there cuz this too will pass.

  • I threw up well into week 18/19.  Now at week 23 i'm better- I probably only throw up once a week.  My doctor put me on a new medicine.  of course now I can't tell you what the name of it was, but i took it at night before I went to bed- when I was my most queasy and that really helped me right away.  Have you talked to your doctor.  hang in there honey!

  • OH! I forgot to mention something....I bought some B Natal Lozenges for morning sickness and it worked wonders. It has a lot of B6 in it which is suppose to alleviate nausea. It really worked for me. It taste like candy. I have the green apple flavor.

  • Week 22 and still sick. I was sick the whole 35 weeks with my last. I do not believe it will be any different with this one. I am on two different meds and they work 60% of the time. Fun Good Luck
  • I am 25 weeks and still throwing up. It sucks. I have been sick since 6 weeks pregnant.  I was throwing up 3-4 days a week and then constantly nauseous and dry heaving all the time up until 21.5 weeks. At that time it changed to being nauseous only about 3-4 days and only throwing up about 1 day out of the week with dry heaving every now and then.  It's better, but still sucks.

I hope it passes soon for you.

  • I threw up sporadically up until 18.5 weeks.  Then it stopped.  There is hope that you are near the end!  Hang in there, I know it sucks!

  • Still getting sick at least once a day a 19 1/2 weeks. Weirdly it didn't really get started until after my 1st trimester. My Dr. finally had to write me a scrip so I could keep some food down. Hopefully this lets up soon! Feel better!
