is LO eating enough?

I am worried my DD isnt getting enough ounces in during the day.  I BF her once in the morning, then she is at the sitters house until 4pm.  She usually drinks three 4oz bottles during the day.  Sometimes she doesnt finish the 3rd bottle all the way b/c the sitter says she sleeps SO much. When we get home she is usually falls asleep for another hour, then I BF her the rest of the night until bedtime 9:30pm and she STTN, so we dont get up to eat either.  Do you think this is enough?  I think she has the right amount of wet/poop diapers..I am worried b/c I just dont know how many ozs she gets from me and she is only in the 30th % for weight (80% for height though)

  • Just curious, are you pumping for her bottles or is she getting formula during the day? I ask because I would like to keep bf'ing DS at least once or twice a day and supplement with formula the rest of the time. I was curious if anyone else did this and if it would work. Sorry this is so off topic!

  • she is getting formula during the day.  I defintely want supplementing to work, but this is one of my main concerns...I just dont know how much she is getting from me after I am not EBFing...
  • Can you just follow her up w/ a bottle after a feeding if she seems unsatisfied? If you were really curious you could get a scale and weigh her before and after a feed to see how much she is getting.
