Baby Acne??

DS has it really bad right now all along his temple and neck (although I think the neck might be a heat rash). Anyways, how long does it last? It seems to get worse every day!! Anything you can use to help it??

I read to just wash baby's face 1-3x a day with warm water (no soap, nothing but water)

DS had this on his cheeks when we followed my mothers advise and put lotion on his cheeks.  It took about 1.5 weeks to go away.  PP was right, use nothing on it but wash it a few times a day with JUST water. 

If you used soap before, on the face, avoid using it in the future.

What kind of lotion do you use??

We were just using a regular baby lotion, but that is actually what CAUSED the acne because it was too thick for his face.  We still use it for his body, but use nothing on his face.

DS had it horrible around 4 weeks. We just washed his face with water daily and one time we put Aquaphor on it (my friend recommended it). It just went away on it's own after a while. He had it on his neck, chest, back, inside his ears, ugh. Now he's a pretty baby again!

I have been using California Baby's super sensitive wash and also the lotion.  It has really helped.

ds had it from about 3-6/7 weeks.  i was just washing it with warm water and then was told to try aveeno baby wash and lotion once in the morning and once at night.  i started the aveeno routine and it was much much better in about a week.  then it totally went away a couple weeks later.
