I can't remember the last time I've had a solid poop. It's always diarrhea.
Any ideas? I have no other symptoms. That I know of.
But I'm beginning to wonder.
And honestly, I *think* I have posted this before....like months ago. Which makes me even more curious since it is still the case.
Re: TMI but curious (Totally TMI, btw)
Get thee to a doctor. It could be lactose intolerance, food allergies, celiac, some kind of bacterial inbalance thing, a reaction to some meds you're on, etc.
You're not absorbing the nutrients from your food properly and can end up with all sorts of issues from that. So take it seriously!
ETA: One more thought, have you been eating a lot of those artificial sweeteners? Those give me that sort of probem.
Well, before I was diagnosed with Celiac, Hashimoto and a B-12 deficiency (I'm a healthy one!!) I had the same issues. I went to the bathroom once every 4-5 days and it was the same way.
Things have been much better for the last 6 months. Normal, and I go about every 2-3 days which is better.
I would get it checked out. Maybe diverticulitis?
Do you eat enough fiber or fruits and veggies?
I don't think it could be diet related ONLY because this happens no matter what I eat --- healthy, crappy, etc.
I have one to two cups of coffee in the morning...not really big on fiber.
I wish I could remember how long this has been going on. I need to start tracking this stuff. I guess I'll do that for the next two weeks and then if there really is a trend, I'll call the doctor.
It just hit me now because I know for a fact it's been going on since at least Saturday (but like I said, I think it's been much longer than that). I know Saturday because I had to use the bathroom at a (new) friend's house and damn, that is embarrassing!
I was that way (the constipation) for a loooooong time and then boom! One day it just started being normal. No changes in diet, lifestyle. Weird.
I would track it though. My friend got me a "poo log" so I could. I kid you not, a poo log. It goes into great detail what the different "textures" mean. It's hilarious and helpful!

I have that and I have irritable bowel syndrome. I also have times where i am constipated. It just depends on my stress level, my schedule, what i am eating etc.
I would see if you can track it and makes some sense of it and if this is not normal for you then I wuld see a doctor about it. It could be any number of things.
