They told me that I should have the results by noon today. Now I am pretty sure I am pregnant, I mean I have taken 4 hpts all come back positive. However when I told my DH he said, and I quote " They told you not to take a test at home, what if it is a false postive." This he even repeated this morning. I think he is worried that I will be disappointed. I love him, but sometimes I wonder where the rebel is that I married, he has turned into a rule follower........
Re: Waiting for my beta...
I hope you get wonderful news this afternoon! I would say those tests are promising, however I don't know the reason why they said to not do a HPT.
Good luck!
You are totally KU.
I think they tell you not to take a home HPT because they sometimes aren't sensitive enough so early, and they don't want you to get a false negative.
I don't think false positives - especially 4! - are the issue.
My beloved sometimes says things to try to keep me from being hurt that actually hurt me instead - stuff about our chances of success with ART.
Before the IUI, I told him that I get why he brought all of that up, but that knowing the facts, we moved forward, and I did not want to hear anything negative.
They mean well. They really do!
I got my call, I am pregnant. However it came while I was in the produce department at a very busy grocery store. So I didn't want to ask alot of questions with tons of people around- she just called me back-
My beta is 553 and my progesterone is 102......eek
A: YAY YAY YAY!! Congrats!
B. If you were on a baseball team, it would be...The Twins! At least it sure sounds like it to me!
Ok, I'll calm down now. Betas vary tremendously from woman to woman, pregnancy to pregnancy. But still!
