I can't help you with that type of camera but did want to point out there is a photography board (that I hadn't noticed before today) that can probably help out a whole lot if no one here can offer any advice.
Olympus is a good brand, but most of the big name brands pretty much are good these days. I've heard that the Stylus Tough is a good model. I also recommend the newer Panasonics, and the Canon G11 is a great new P&S model.
Btw Jackie, it's not the camera that takes good pictures, it's the person. Hehe.
I have a $3000 camera and I have seen some pretty horrible images come out of it when taken by someone who does not know how to use it!

FWIW - I have 2 Canons (1 P&S, 1 DSLR) and LOVE them both. Haven't had any issues w/ them, and they take great photos.

I completely agree... but I consider myself a pretty decent photographer, and I could never work the Nikon! Yet I have no problem w/ Canons.
