I was a nanny for 2 years for 2 toddlers. I left to start teaching but recently got laid off. Anyway... I used Craigslist to find the family I worked for. Maybe try there first if you are looking for in-home care? word of mouth in your area?
I live in the East end of Pittsburgh so I'm not really good with what daycares are out there.
I'm thinking of going back to work as a nanny so I'll probably use craigslist again.?

I am a developmental therapist so I have been in plenty of daycare facilities. I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. My personal favorite in the north hills area is st. paul's preschool which has a daycare drop off program. But I know they can be difficult to get into so if they don't have an opening I would recommend deciding on a daycare by utilizing the keystone star rating system. They are PA standards that daycare, and preschools can sign up for which provides them with funding. The more stars the better the facility.
