Anyone have a good bread machine recipe?

I'm about to make some, but I'm tired of the ones my book has for recipes.

Thanks!

  • I'm in the same boat.  Everyone recommended Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day (non-bread machine book though) but I didn't want to pay $27.99 for it so I'm waiting until I have some B&N coupons.

  • I hated the texture that I got from bread machines so I started making it by hand.  Now I use the KitchenAid.  Do you have one?

  • I don't like the shape of the pan in my machine so I just use the dough cycle and then bake.  If I want a standard loaf, I bake it in a loaf pan.  If I want artisan-type bread or rolls or whatever I shape it and then put it on the cookie sheet as usual.  I like to look for bread recipes on www.recipezaar.com

I do have a KitchenAid.  I've never tried making dough in it!  I think I might have to try it out today.
