side by side strollers... FYI

I may be out of the loop, and if i am, i truly apologize... however, i know that alot of ladies on here have posted questions/statements about side-by-side strollers and if any of them will accomodate TWO infant seats.... well this weekend at BRU, i saw one for the first time!!!  It's made by Baby Trend Big Smile .

Re: side by side strollers... FYI

  • yeah- they have recently come out with a .couple that take 2 infant seats SBS - with one being higher than the other.  Just a year ago they didn't have anything like this.  They keep making things better and better.

    ETA:

just checked it out online- wow- they are trully SBS! But the width of that stroller is 32.5" - that is pretty wide (which is why in the past there were no SBS strollers that took 2 seats b/c it makes it too wide to fit through doorways).

My valco is 28" wide and JUST gets through doorways...  a 32"+ stroller width will not get through all doorways, esp if you live in an area with older buildings, etc.   Just an FYI to anyone intersted in this stroller.

the Easy Walker Duo takes 2 seats- one higher than the other.

    it's 29" wide.

  • WOW!!!  I didn't read anything about it, mainly because I have already picked out everything I want, and seeing that didn't change my mind.

However, have you ever seen a DSNG that wasn't the tandem, it looked more like a staircase. One was higher than the other, and she had her babies facing out as opposed to facing towards her??  It looked neat, and i would normally stop and say something but i was driving by in my car as she was hurrying into the mall, so i don't think it would have been appropriate.

  • probably a double decker - https://www.doubledeckerstroller.com/index.shtml

but i would never get this vs. a DSNG since you don't use them long and the DSNG is so light and small to fold, and cheap.  If i had triplets I'd get the triple decker maybe!
