aw: she's sleeping!!!!!!!

You guys, I need to thank you.  I've been complainign for MONTHS about how I can't get Abby to sleep on her own, it was my own fault, it's just not working, etc... And I've gotten some awesome advice AND I've gotten a lot of "just do it!  stop being such a wuss!" from a lot of you, too... and both of that combined has finally clicked, and it's working!  Abby is FINALLY falling asleep in her crib all by herself.  We read a story, give a bottle, brush her teeth and then we put her in the crib and say "night night."  She cries for, I swear, literally 30 seconds and then it's silent.  It's amazing!  just took 17 months LOL

So thank you all for your support :-D  You ladies really are freaking amazing.  Regardless of how big or how small our problems are, knowing you guys makes being a mommy just that much easier.

LOL pretty much.  I wasn't nursing, but I may as well have been.  We were rocking her to bed every night and waiting until she fell asleep on our laps before putting her in the crib.  We were even taking her for drives to get her to pass out!!!  We finally decided we couldn't take it anymore and left her to cry.  One day we'd go in after 10 min, soothe her and leave and she'd eventually fall asleep.  First night it took about 1/2 an hour.  Second about 10 min before she passed out and now it's less than 3!
