IUD Fail

I got an IUD put in back in November thinking I was set. DS will be turning 8 months next week and I just found out yesterday that I'm 5 weeks pregnant. AHHHH! Out of the 99.9 or such % the IUD protects, I had to be the latter. I seriously don't know what I'm going to do. I never imagined I'd be expecting again so soon... or at all.

Oh man! Well Congrats!! This seems to happen to a lot of women on here.I have a Mirena - maybe I should check the strings...

I know 3 people that has happened to. I think its more common than the stats claim.

Congrats! Now this makes me nervous, BCP failed resulting in DD#1 so I have been using mirena after DD1 and DD2.

wow congratulations! and don't worry, everything will be ok, but i can understand you are probably feeling pretty shocked right now. just think of how close your LOs will be!
