Clomid s/e? Mood swings?

I am on my first cycle of Clomid. I am taking 50mg on CD 5 - 9 and today is the last day. I read that many people experience little to no side effects on such a low dose, and those that do have them more after they finished taking Clomid for the cycle.

I have been on an emotional rollercoaster for the last 3 days...crying, mad, crying again. I feel sorry for my DH its been so bad.

Anyone else experience mood issues on Clomid? Can I expect it to get worse since I finish the pills today?

I didn't really have mood swings while on the Clomid, but a couple days after I finished the pills, I had some mood swings. It only lasted a couple of days, then I was back to normal. This was my first cycle of Clomid too. GL!

I just said to DH "Did I experience mood issues on Clomid?"  He responded with an immediate and resounding "Yeah."  The stuff made me nuts, you aren't losing your mind!

I too just did my first cycle of Clomid 50mg and that was ended on last Sunday and I am still an emotial wreck.  Last night, I was just reading ways happy couples told their families of a baby on the way and I just couldn't stop crying!  I hope that it stops soon!

I don't think my emotions were any different on Clomid.

Thanks ladies. I feel better to know I'm not crazy. The tiniest things have just set off a flood of emotion (dog throwing up on my blanket, traffic on the interstate)...I hope it gets better.

I also hope this cycle is the one! I think I will be in an institution on a higher dosage.

I don't think I had mood swings on clomid (during or after).  I might have been a bit irritable, but I don't think so. . .

Oh great.  I've been moody and emotional enough as it is so I can't imagine what I'm going to be like once I start Clomid next cycle!

I have never really had any super noticable s/e.  I may have had some emotional moments, but who knows if it was from the Clomid or from something unrelated.

I just finished my first round of Clomid, 50 mg, 5-9 and had the worst nausea!  That was my only real s/e.  The nurse told me to try Benadryl to help and it worked!!  Go figure...  Good luck to you.

I had horrible mood swings my first round of Clomid, especially the last three days!  This month I'm on my second round and haven't had any terrible mood swings (yet).
