Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

toddler flat sheet?

I am wondering when to start using a top sheet. DS is 20 months.  I'm wondering if it would  help him not loose his covers at night if the quilt was on a sheet that was tucked in.  Sometimes he wakes up, and all he wants is his covers back on him. I looked at walmart.com and babiesrus.com, and can't find toddler size flat sheets.  I have tons of fitted sheets, I don't want a set.

Anybody using a top sheet?  Where did you get it?  I might just make one, can't to be too hard!

Re: toddler flat sheet?

  • We aren't using one but I know that PBK sells both toddler flat and fitted sheets.

  • Update:  I just turned a fitted into a top sheet with a fitted end! SOO easy and free!  I am loving it.  Basically, I cut near the end, sewed the elastic off, pulled the elastic out of the rest of it, and cut and sewed the top end so it looks like a sheet.  It looks like it could have been bought in a store, I'm so pleased! :-D
