I'm actually pretty nervous about posting it on facebook. I don't like the bazillion comments and attention that come from just flat out posting something like that.
A friend of mine nonchalantly began mentioning it, making it part of her once in a while updates and there was no huge wave of attention. People who normally commented/communicated with her did. Others who she communicates with rarely didn't post fake well wishes. Maybe I'll try that approach.
"I wanted you more than you'll ever know, so I sent love to follow wherever you go."
Probably after 12 weeks. I have to be careful because my bosses are Facebook friends also and that is something I want to do in person. Due to the fact that we have to pack everything at our school and take it out of the building for summer renovations, I'm actually going to have to tell my principal and assistant principal at about 8 weeks so I can get some help prepping and moving all of the technology in the building. I was planning on waiting until the end of the school year, which would be 12 weeks for me, but I don't want to take any chances moving things!

Ugh, that sucks! We just have to move all of our things onto the carpet so the custodial service can strip and wax the tile. I'd hate to take all of my classroom crap home - I'd have to add another wing!

In one respect, I'm lucky because I moved from 1st grade to Technology so I don't have nearly as many of my personal things on campus. They are all in storage now. But we found out last week that we won't just be moving things into the cafeteria -- we will be moving them to a different campus! One of the renovations they are doing is a new sprinkler system throughout the building. My AP told me before I got my BFP and I was overwhelmed then! I love my job, but obviously I have different priorities after just a few days!

Ditto! I hope my boss realizes that. She's a bit of a dragon and ignores her 5 children (who are horrible) to be a workaholic...
I actually don't plan on coming right out and saying it. I have a "stick family" of me, DH and our 4 kitties on my FB page and I'm going to change my stick figure to a pregnant one and see if anyone notices. lol Of course this is after I tell my family tomorrow.
This is a sore subject for me! My sister is the type of person who lives, eats, breaths facebook and doesn't make a move without updating her status (very annoying). After she found out I was pregnant, SHE posted it on her page! Then she posted a comment on my wall!! I was really upset, but didn't notice it until a day later when people had already started to comment. I had to quickly call all of my good friends to let them know and some of them had already seen her comment. I decided to post "baby W is on the way" so that there would be no hard feelings for people that I hadn't told yet.
Probably not until after the 12 wk mark. We haven't even told all of our friends and family yet so I want to tell them personally before they read anything on fb.

around 12 weeks
I think I might do it on Mother's Day - I'll be about 10 weeks then. We'll see how I feel about it then.
I'm kinda unsure about how I want to do it on FB yet.
My sister did this the first time around. I told her to remove it. Fortunately no one had noticed or commented.
I have no plans to announce on FB. People will just have to guess from photos or something.
