My poor lil girl. :(

So Kaitlyn woke up a little warm yesterday but said she felt fine, so she went to her 4 hours of MDO. She had no fever yesterday afternoon or last night when we went to bed (which coincidentally I was in her room since DH is sick and has infected our bed... I refuse to sleep in it until he's well and I can wash/sanitize the sheets.) So at 4am she wakes me up and she's whining and crying b/c she has to pee. I'm irritated b/c she wakes up and pees on her own pretty much every night and goes back to sleep... So I feel her and she's HOT HOT HOT. Take her temp 101.2. Give her some Tylenol and back to bed we go. Her fever pretty much stayed down b/c I continually gave her Motrin/Tylenol until the last dose at 10:30 in preparation for her 2pm doc appt. It was back up to 100.8 at the doc... Based on the fact that she just looks miserable and she told Dr. S that her voice hurt, she decided to do a Strep culture and a Flu culture... They both came back positive! My poor lil munchkin.

Sorry to hear it. Strep sucks worse than flu (and flu really sucks). Poor thing.

*Strep is making the rounds. A note went out from school and one of Lucas's classmates has it. I am so glad we have a party today <sarcasm>. I have to remind myself they're around each other all week and pray that the party place related germs stay put...
