GD frustration -- vent

I just don't know what has happened over the past few days.  Everything was going along fine.  The gylburide was working well and my fasting draw was well below 90.  All of my post meal draws were under 120.

 Rewind three days.  My fasting draws have been 92 and 98 (compared to the 88,74, 73, 87, 85... they had been) and my after dinner draws have been 131, 135, and 131.  And on the night that the draw was 135, I had had the exact same dinner that I made two nights before and had a successful draw of 107! 

I've called the doctor's office to see what they want to do.  I really hate my body today for not cooperating.  I just don't want anything to hurt P.

This happened to me, and it can happen, gotta love those hormones. they may need to increase your meds or switch you to insulin. I was up to 10mg of Glyburide so they ended up putting me on insulin. Your AM #'s are still not terrible though...

GL...i know how frustrating it is, BELIEVE me, I do. My body is finally cooperating after meds have been increased at least 4x now.

I completely understand, they have had to increase my insulin dosage a couple of times.  You unfortunately can't control those darn hormones!

Thanks!  The doctor's office called back and said to decrease carbs in my before dinner snack and dinner.  Thanks, but I've done that.  I actually see the doctor tomorrow for my NST -- so maybe maybe something more concrete will happen.
