when did you first give your LO a blanket and pillow? DD just turned 1 and she sleeps in long sleeved footie pajamas, and I don't know if that's what she should continue to sleep in all summer.
DD has had a blanket for quite some time now, but still no pillow. She sleeps in footed pjs as well.

We still don't use a blanket or pillow. K is such a wild sleeper with his head at one end of the bed at night and by the morning he's totally switched around, so he would kick the blanket right off. We had used sleep sacks over winter, but with the nicer weather we've just done lighter pajamas and no sleep sack.
Maybe your LO would be more comfy in light pj's for the summer instead of long sleeved footies...that's if you don't want to use a blanket yet.

Next time I am at the store and I remember, I plan on picking up a toddler sized pillow and we will start. In the last few weeks, there have been numerous times I have gone in to him in the morning and he has his head on the blanket and at my mom's a few weeks ago, she gave him a pillow and he slept until 8:15.

we tried a blanket at 13 months and she hated it. We tried again last week and she loved it I bought a pillow because she loves lying on ours in bed but hated it and looked at me like i was nuts when I put it in the crib
My sisters son is over 2 and still doesnt like blankets.
