Sooo This is way off topic and Im sorry!!  But I am getting married in Sept and was just wondering how people picked out their wedding song!!  Was just curious!!!!  Have a few songs in mind but nothing picked out yet!

We picked our song from a band that DH and I listen to often and reminds us of each other.  It was a little out of the ordinary, but its our song and nobody else's so I didn't mind :-)

Sadly we didn't have a dance at our wedding (because of my husband LoL).  The song that we consider "our song" is:  "You Had Me From Hello" by Kenny Chesney.  We like it because in a way it's kind of true for us!  That's corny I know

Ours was "When I Look into Your Eyes" by Firehouse. Its 80s rock, so its not in everyone's taste, but the style alone fit us to a T. I just liked the words and I love the song, DH loved it too when I brought it up so we just used that one.

Look for one that you love the words to- even if it seems corny, find one that have lyrics you could easily be singing to each other and mean them.

We chose our favorite song by our favorite artist. We love texas country and wanted something a little different, Something not a whole lot of other people chose as their first song. I love it, it's called "let the good times roll" by brandon rhyder...amazing artist!

All of the music for our ceremony and dance were musicians/bands that the two of us listen to, but had lyrics that we loved. The song during our vows was "So Much" by The Spill Canvas, and our first dance was "Guardian Angel" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Definitely not sterotypical wedding songs-- pick what you love.

DH and I always liked Brian Adams and at every wedding we always requested a song from him to dance to so we knew we wanted one of his songs.  So we decided on one that wasn't as popular!

DH and I got online the morning of our wedding 2 years ago and looked at lists of songs and ended up picking something by Tim McGraw. I think, that might not even be right haha thats how much we cared about it.

We had already been together for 5 years and I had been in the hospital earlier that week with MRSA and my little brother had graduated from highschool the night before so we were pretty much exhausted and just wanted to be married and get to the bahamas to relax.

We picked out song because we heard it on our first date and the name of the song is "First Date for the Last time" by Todd Fritch...I new the moment i heard it I was going to marry my DH!    I'm a little mushy tonight, he is coming home tomorrow after being gone for his two weeks on!!!

I just found a song that gave me goosebumps when I thought about dancing to it.  I chose "The Day Before You" by Rascal Flatts; they're one of my favorite bands, and it's a sweet wedding song when you listen to the lyrics.

We had a number of different songs, we were together for 8 years before we got married. The wedding processional was "At Last" (cause of the 8 years. it took us to get there!) the wedding recessional was "Jackson" Johnny & June Carter Cash (it just fits us really well). Our first dance was "To Make You Feel My Love" Garth Brooks (it was on the first time we had sex). And the second song we danced to was "Thank You" by Led Zepplin (DH picked it out, and I really kinda like it now, cept it's kinda long) The last song we danced to was "Save the Last Dance" Micheal Buble - I'm not a huge fan, but it fits us, and was a nice ending song.

Good Luck I made a huge deal out of this song picking-it was very important to me. Whenever I hear any of these songs it makes me think of my wedding day.

P.S. If you're into to perfume/cologne - find a new special one to wear the day of your wedding. Don't have it be your everyday scent, and you can wear it on special occasions or days you need a little pick-me-up.
