  • Labatalol is one of the best HBP meds for pregnant women.  Lots of ladies on this board are on it, including me.  I'm sure the doctor weighed the possible risks of the medication against the definite risks of HBP on you and your baby.  The best thing for your baby will be for you to try to relax and keep your BP under control.

     Good luck!

  • That one is safe for baby...they wouldn't give it to you otherwise :).  It's way better to take something for BP than have it high.  I understand how frustrating it can be - going from healthy all your life, to everything turned upside down.  I felt the same way, like - how is this me?  I am not the "sick" type. Pregnancy does some strange things to your body for sure, but you should be fine and so will baby!  Good luck!
  • I was on it from 14 weeks until after I gave birth and have a happy, healthy baby boy.
