Please don't tell a supervisor!!!!  As a supervisor it is the WORST thing to have to talk to an employee about!!

In all honesty though, especially if that person works with customers/clients you should probably tell a supervisor.

I work in HR (staffing industry) and have to counsel people on good hygiene all the time.  You'd be surprised at how many people come to interviews smelling like BO or booze.  We keep a bottle of air freshener in our lobby.  I'm not even exaggerating.

This is the second time in my life this has happened and the worst thing is both times the people were very nice and "huggy and kissy" and it truly makes me want to vomit.....I work at night so I don't even see the supervisor  but ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I assume you mean BO smell, but I work (and carpool) with a girl that wears an insane amount of strong perfume.

I asked our secretary today to print up our perfume policy, highlight the important line (no perfumes due to some people having environmental allergies) and put it in her office box.

Hopefully I will not have a headache by the time I get to work tomorrow...

That's a toughie!  Assuming it's BO, maybe you could buy some deoderant and leave it on his/her desk when they aren't there?  Then they won't know that it came from you, and it would probably be enough of a hint that something's wrong.  You shouldn't have to be the one to do that, though!

I think I just deal with it because I am too nice but Goodness I can't take it and as the week goes by it gets worse

OK, a fishy odor?  Maybe some FDS?  You'd have to have a lot of guts to put that on someone's desk, though!

Wow!  I have a coworker that smells like BO during the warmer months and has sometimes farted at his desk.  Luckily I have the type of job where I do not have to stay near my desk or even in the office to get work done.  If it really interfered with my job I would definitely tell my supervisor.  That is what supervisors are there for.
