Today's edition of "They get kids but we don't?!?"

So it's pretty much hot as a twat here already, even though the wind is blowing a little.  I was going into Dollar General in this strip mall and there was an ambulance out front.  They were checking out this 2 year old and her infant sister (they were OK!)  But their idiot mother had left them in the vehicle with the windows rolled up and was shopping at the clothing store next door.  Someone had eventually called the police.  The officer wrote her a ticket.  IMO she should have spent a few nights in jail.

    I just don't understand what they're thinking.  Leaving a child alone in the car while shopping is bad enough IMO, but in the heat too???!!!  ugh..

    Wow, that's awful. Definitely agree that she should have spent a couple nights in jail.

    Hopefully that will happen!  She had the ticket in her hand and drove off but hopefully they reported her too.

    Ok, there is nothing comical about this post, but your opening line made me spit out my wine!!

    That mother should have been arrested and called into CPS!!!!!
