TTC after 35

NTTC+35R: What a week!

And it is only Wednesday!

I have been out sick from work this week because of laryngitis!  Ironic and painful considering I am a speech language pathologist.  But for me (being a contractor in the schools) no work=no $$$$

So to pass time today, and yesterday, I packed my bags for our trip to Switzerland, cleaned the new apartment, hung art and pictures, etc.  So now I sit QUIETLY in our new fabulous apartment, looking at my suitcase, stressing about my lack of income this week and my husband asks me what kind of watch (from Switzerland) do I want to celebrate my 40th (next month).  I just laughed.  I love him.

I think I like this stay at home thing.... If only i could get paid to do it!!!!  Here's hoping that not only do I bring home a beautiful Swiss watch, fabulous pictures, beautiful memories but also a Swiss-made embie!!! I am at CD12 today!

Happy Easter and Happy Passover to one and all!

Re: NTTC+35R: What a week!

  • Wow.  Hope you feel better and have a great vacation. Oh and if you do manage to land one in Switzerland, don't name the kid "Switzerland" or "Zurich".  "Geneva" could be pretty though :)  Good luck!
I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

"It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" - A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
  • Travel safe and hope you get a "European" baby on your vacation!!!!

LOL I agree with Izz about the names!!!!!

  • Sorry that you've been sick, but I'm glad you were able to use your down time to decorate your new place and prepare for your trip.

Is your birthday April or May? (I know you told me, but I can't remember!)  My big birthday is this April - gulp!

Have a wonderful, wonderful trip.  I hope Switzerland is the ticket to your BFP!

  • Thanks Ladies!  I ask DH about "Genevieve" if we conceive and I got the eye roll!!!  (giggle!)

I turn 40 on May 1 and I am actually looking forward to it.  We are having a few friends over and celebrating the new apartment and my birthday. The Kentucky Derby and my birthday on the same day!  Fabulous.  Now I just need to pick out a hat and outfit.
