Success after IF

Wish I could split in two.

I love staying home with Gabrielle.  Though it's hectic sometimes making sure she's watched while I shower, grab a bite, etc., we have such a great time with running errands, dancing around singing, and going on walks with the dogs.

Then again, I *love* my work, too.  In fact, I've been working probably more than my business partner expected, as multi-tasking with emails and phone calls from home hasn't been hard.  I even went in to work today to hand off some vases, and built an arrangement while there since it wasn't like I had to go anywhere and could easily help out.  It was even more fun doing that while li'l G sat in her car seat watching what was going on.

Wish I could do both simultaneously.  Sigh...

  • I own a floral design company that specializes in weddings and events.  I love my job.  Aside from the occasional crazy bride, my job is like playing.  Plus we swear like sailors, which always makes for a great work day.  lol.

  • I feel the same way.  I love what I do (and I graduate with my MS in a few weeks!) and I can't imagine giving it up, especially since I'm just really getting started.  But I relish my days home with Ava.  I do think that I appreciate my time home with Ava more than I would if I stayed at home (not saying that SAHMs don't appreciate their time with their kids -- just saying that it seems that way for ME).
