Success after IF

Would it be wrong?

To wear yoga pants and an extra-large T-shirt to my shower? (oh, and to complete the look, my fav t shirt of choice these days is a Thunder Thursday T-shirt from a bar on the Jersey shore- classy stuff)

I swear... that is really all I can stand wearing.  When I am not wearing this, it is all I can think about!

I mean it is MY day... shouldn't I be comfortable? LOL.

I am really having a hard time finding something :(

  • How fancy do you want to go? I am thinking I will wear a sundress from either Motherhood, Target or Old Navy with a cardigan of some sort. Or you could wear your stellar outfit that you have going :)

I am not really a dress person.  I hate my legs to begin with, and they are so pale and pasty right now... yuck. :(

I really am just looking for a pretty top to wear and I still am having a hard time with that.

  • It's funny you say that, because I am totally not a dress person either, but this bump looks cute with them :) You might try like a New York and Company or something like that and find a shirt with an empire waist to it. I know there are many non-maternity shirts out there that look like they could work. When is your shower?

  • I think it's important for you to feel comfortable first and foremost!  Thunder Thursday sounds marvy.

That is coming up! I am having one on each side. The first is May 15th and then May 29th.  I am so happy we are getting to this point! I haven't been this happy in a long time.

  • One of my showers was "Baby's 1st Tailgate" everyone was asked to dress in tailgate clothes (green and white of course) So I wore a fun striped shirt and jeans!! It was soooo nice to not dress up for that shower.

What about a dress with leggings under it so it doesn't show you legs?

  • I wore a dress with tights, and it was perfect. And I am not a dress person, either.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • How about a maxi dress? Something ankle length?
  • I wore maternity black shorts (but knee length) with a pretty sleeveless top (it was august and hot!!)  It was casual but still cute and comfy!
