Suppository???

Every time I push it up there, it comes right back out. Am I missing something? We need DD to poo so we can get a stool sample to the doc, they said just cut it in half and put it up there...I feel so out of my element. Help/Advice?

you have to get it just a little bit further in... there's a sphincter that you have to get past, gently, and then it'll disappear! poof!  You're close. just a lil' more.

Her bum is too little!!! I can't get any farther than what I am...unless I use my pinky maybe?? Or what about the thermometer, can I use that?

for next time... you can insert it as far as you can, then almost push the whole peri area in a bit with a couple flat fingers, or yes, a pinkie.  I don't recommend tools, lol.

lol Thanks, Davez. I actually had cut it shorter a little bit since she's so tiny, but then read online that you should only cut them lengthwise and decided to just do that since the pedi didn't mention cutting it shorter. That seemed to work better in terms of getting it to stay in, so I think that's where I may have been going wrong.

I had the same trouble too. Just make sure you spread her little butt cheeks, insert it, then hold her legs together so it doesn't slide back out.
