Well, we closed on the house (yay!)

But now I'm back at work because we aren't allowed into the house today because one of the sellers hasn't signed the papers yet, so the transaction has funded.

I had taken the day off of work thinking we would get started with measuring and ordering stuff, but it seemed a waste of vacation time to be away from work when we can't do any of that.

I was all kinds of excited earlier, but not I'm just meh.  I'm not a patient person and asking me to be patient until 4pm was pushing it as it is.  And since I'm working tomorrow, I won't be able to even see the house until 6 pm tomorrow.  Harumph.

That sucks but the brightside is, you have a house and the transaction went relatively smoothly compared to a lot. AND you have a long weekend. Maybe you can use the rest of your vacation day tomorrow to cut out early and get started.

All very true.  Except for the long weekend part.  We are open all day Friday.
