Little man is 5 months old and I think he is cutting his first teeth. He cries out in pain from a sound sleep. We have given him teething tablets and tylenol but it's not helping. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
When DS was teething we would soak a baby washcloth under running water and wring it out. Then roll it up and put it in a sandwich bag and throw it in the freezer. Don't freeze it all the way through, just enough to make it cool and somewhat firm. We would give him a dose of Motrin and then while we were waiting for that to kick in, we would give him the frozen washcloth to chew on for a while. He loved it.

Motrin definitely works better for E than tylenol, but we couldn't give motrin until she hit 6 months.
And even with motrin, she still cries out during her sleep. I hate teething!
