Mommy put you down for a nap almost an hour ago. You have repeatedly thrown your pacifiers and all of your stuffed animals out of the crib. Let me tell you about forethought...it is a wonderful thing. When you're considering throwing out your last paci, please remember that the second that it hits the ground...you will want it back. I am going to come back in there for the second time to retrieve them from the floor, but you really could use a nap. So please go nighty night.
Mommy loves you so much and she really does hope that you get rid of this pesky fever quickly. Mommy misses her happy, energetic little guy!
All my love,
Mommy
Re: My dearest Jacob,
My dearest Mommy,
Boy I got you wrapped around my finger real nice. Getting you to come into see me is as easy as throwing this plastic sucky thing on the floor. Next time you come in, I'm going to kick my legs and squeel, you seem to be a real sucker for that cute chit. Oh! I hear you coming. Best poop my pants as a stall tactic.
Love,
Your Jacob
Hey you just described my kid! only it's not a paci it's Mr.B (the lovey) and the chitting his pants is a regular occurance at bedtime these days.
I was just going to write a "dear mommy" letter!
Sounds like someone is feeling at least a little bit better ; )
I'm sorry, but I LOL at this one! Those babies sure know how to turn on the charm. I'm a sucker for it too. I hope he is feeling better and falls asleep soon.
