This. Although I have heard we should be sticking with a top load washer for CDing... either way we need a new washer. Ours just decided it wants to be a lawn mower. That's what it sounds like anyway!

My diapers get plenty clean with my front loader. I wash with no detergent on a guick cycle with no spin (so they're nice and wet), then a hot wash with Rockin Green Soap, then another rinse.

Good to know! DH has his heart set on a front load. Plus I am hoping (probably dreaming) that we'll be able to stack them. Not sure about the height in our basement though.

If you would like a recommendation for the shortest stackable set we could find, let me know.  I'll find the model number.  We got them only because they would fit, and I love them.

Oh yes definitely! Dh is working part time at an electronics store right now, so we are hoping to get them with his discount (he'll be stopping once babyCam arrives). If you can send me the numbers I will have him see what he can get them for.

FWIW, I have the Bosch set and I freaking love them. I can do my entire familys laundry for a week in one evening.
