Hey everyone!! I haven't posted on this board in a LONG time, but I need tips! I know there are several ladies who are experienced with sergers (and this is a scary-free board!).
I finally started playing with my serger that I've had for awhile. Life got in the way, but now I'm ready to learn!!
So, how do you get around corners? I've heard curves are difficult, but I'm finding it much easier to curve a corner instead of squaring it off. Square is what I need right now, though!
Also, if you have any other super-fabulous-I'd-never-serge-without-this-tip tips, I'm all ears*!!!
Thank you!!
*I guess I'm really all eyes! Hahaha!
Re: Serger question
I come to the corner, stop. lift the foot and turn the fabric and start sergering again...
I hope that's what you are talking about!
Good luck!
I'm just learning how to use a serger that I bought used (from another bumpie, actually), and I haven't done a corner yet, but I found this website/pdf helpful with illustrations...

And this youtube video...
Sorry no clicky. HTH! I was going to work on serging today, but baby E needs snuggles after his shots today.
Thank you both! I just go back from JoAnn b/c I ran out of serger thread! Must practice!
