XP: Photogs, any of you have a BluDomain website?

...and have your site email routed to Outlook?

I can't send emails and I have no idea why.  It's pizzing me off.  Anyone else having trouble or know why I can't send stuff out?

  • do you host with bludomain?  maybe put in a support ticket with them?  sorry, their CS suuuuuuucks.  I would love to ditch them but haven't had the time to research new sites.

    eta:  yes, but I pay the fee to host with godaddy to avoid BD.

    (i route my emails to thunderbird, so it's pretty similar)

  • I purchased a template or templates I guess now from them and host with godaddy.  So my email is setup through there.  All my website inquires are sent to my email just fine though.  I've had to get some CS from BluDomain in the past and I've always gotten quick, helpful service.  I guess I'm either lucky or they have worked on their CS issues.

    This. It took me TWELVE emails to support to get my site up and running - and nothing had to do with lack of info or anything. They just kept delaying and/or forgetting or something came up. I had heard about email issues with them, so decided that it was worth paying the one time fee to have it installed on my own hosting so that I could be in full control of the site. Interestingly enough, once the site was moved over for me, the customer service improved tremendously.

  • I do host with BD.  I guess I'll send them a service request or whatever, and HOPE that I get a quick response.  I am SO technically challenged I don't even know what to tell them except, "My email's broken."  lol.  I don't know if the prob is on my end (like with my computer) or theirs.  And to make matters more complicated I also have my OLD email (with Office Live) routed to the new email address through BD (or something; my DH set it all up) so I'm even more confused as to whether it's emails from the old site (which is still live), the BD site, or what.  grrr

  • I host with BD and hate them. Their CS seriously sucks and I've had issues with my site that they never seem to get resolved. I can't get it to go through to Outlook for me either, so I'm still using my dinky gmail account. I've sent in countless tickets and they always say they've "fixed" it. BS - they haven't touched my site!

    I'm going to host with Bluehost once my year is up with BD.
