I think I punctured my eardrum

do I neeeeeeeeed to go to the doctor? I was q-tipping and I already have a bad habit of going in too far...but I turned and kind of hit my elbow causing it to go in a little further. Nothing hurt at the time...but it kind of hurt last night and then this morning it still hurts and my ear is kind of clogged.

You "kind of" might want to call, especially if it's still hurting you.

I have ruptured an ear drum before and there was no questions that it was hurting - A LOT. So while I would probably call, if you punctured it, I think you would know. LIke more than kind of hurting.

Hopefully it isn't that bad, then...it's just plugged and throbbing a bit. But my jaw up there hurts too...maybe from the fluid or something.

I'm going to the doc at 6...it just sucks. As my DH said - Mom's can't get sick!
