We are team green and STILL stumped for a girls name....!! Zip it!

DH and I love "Jules" as a NN but need a full name for it...which do you girls like better: Julie or Juliana? (Weird but we don't prefer Julia) My MIL is Roseanne and my Mom is Mary so MN would probably be:

Julie Rose or Juliana Mary (also love Claire and Grace as MNs)

HELP!!! TIA (also feel free to throw some SMOOTHE labor dust my way Yes )

What about Juliet? A character on the show "Psych" is named Juliet but goes by Jules.

Definitely Juliana. We love that name also, but are afraid that she would get the nn Julie (which we are not huge fans of). Love the nn Jules.

Juliana. LOVE it! Sounds so pretty. Julie is too plain for me. I love Juliana Rose, I think that sounds better then Mary does. I love the other too Middle names you choose as well, Grace and Claire.

We're going to use Julia because it's my late aunt's name; however, we also plan to use "Jules."

Of those two, definitely Juliana; but what about Juliet? I think that's a super pretty name, and you could still use "Jules" as her nn.

I am named after my great aunt Juliana but my parents split it up as Julie Anna to "Americanize". When I got engaged I decided to change my name to Juliana. I was SO upset when they said I'd have to go through court etc to change my first name, even though I really just considered it more of a merge:) I still use the mailing labels my now hubby made with my name spelled Juliana, even though I can't be:) Anyway, she can always call herself Julie as a nickname, but you can't really lengthen your name, so speaking from personal pref I'd def go Juliana so she has options. On another note I always hated being called Jules! We named my niece Isabella nn Bella and now that she's old enough she tells everyone to call her Izzy (which my sister totally hates) so I wouldn't put too much weight in possible nns.

Still just Julie;p

Our girl name right now is Giuliana Rose. I think if you choose Juliana she can choose to go by Jules, Julie, Julia or any of the above as nick names as she gets older. I have a long first name that can become many nick names and love it since I get some say in what people call me.
