CBEFM question (and a clicky poll)

in TTC After a Loss

suntoto sent me hers to borrow, but I don't think I got it to reset properly last cycle (first time using it).  It asked for a stick on CD8 and I think the instructions say a new one would ask for it on CD6. 

So, my question is.  Should I try to do the hard reset again now that I'm CD 2 or just go with it since it has my information from last cycle?

    Yet, it still asked me for a stick on CD 6 so I don't think it's going to matter this month...I hope next month it will ask me for one later since it will miss my surge this month...

    Why do you think it will miss your surge?

    Because it only asks for a max of 20 sticks a cycle...20 sticks puts me at CD 25. I O'd on CD 26 last cycle.

    If you are only on CD 2 I would reset it - you can start using it as late as CD 5.

    Did you ever get a peak last cycle, or just highs until the lows came back?

    Honestly, I might be tempted to just go forth now and live with it.  With a month under its belt, it'll have a better idea of you now.  Still with the old data, that might affect you for another cycle or two.  Gosh, I just don't know.

     

    Can I vote for hard reset but don't expect to see a Peak this cycle either?

    Mine didn't ask me for a stick at the same time every month, once it got to know my cycles.  I don't O until CD19/CD20, so once it knew that, it would ask for a stick until CD10 or 11.  I would just go with it since you have one cycle in ther already.

    I did get a peak, but it was days after my + OPK and I had no CM.
