I was just looking through your blog and the post from September had me in tears.  First of all, you are a great writer.  Holy cow.  But really, Oliver is so lucky to have you as a mommy.  I am learning to follow Lucy's cues as well and the control freak in me is learning to let go because she won't let me control her!  I am learning to cherish the moments we have where she is happy... and her little smile definitely does make it all worth while.

I also know that you guys have struggled with sleep, yet I still "see" you being such a great mommy.  Given our struggles with sleep the past four months, you are giving me hope that I can still be the best mommy I can be.  

Plus, your kid is a cutie!
