Cramping at 18 weeks? ( I feel like a newbie)

Hello Ladies,

Just wanted to ask if anyone else has had this. In the beginning the only pains I had were sharp ligament pains when I sneezed etc. The last few days I have had a dull crampy feeling, like my period cramps, that are pretty constant.  I did put a call in to my Dr and I am waiting for them to call back, but in the meantime just wondering if this is something any of you are feeling. Hope you are all having a good day!

 - Side note, probably unrelated, but I just finished a round of antibiotics for BV, could this have something to do with it?

Thanks in Advance!

I've been crampy this week.  But, I have realized that I am confusing some movement with crampiness if that makes any sense.  I called my doctor and they are not concerned.

  • I have had cramping on and off my entire pregnancy. I'm pretty sure it's just all the stretching my uterus is doing.
  • Thanks ladies. Surprisingly enough this is not my first, haha. With my son I never had a stitch, cramp, or braxton hicks contraction. They are right when they say that each pregnancy is different. I feel like I am new at this again! I appreciate the reassurance.
  • I have cramping on and off lately as well!
  • I've been cramping all morning. Not too worried though, I'm sure its my uterus stretching.
  • I too have had cramping on and off throughout my pregnancy. Last night I had some...only on my right side....and I had a break down because I was so nervous about it :0(

If you knew how lonely my life has been And how long I've been so alone And if you knew how I wanted someone to come along And change my life the way you've done
