Is anyone here taking B6 for a LPD? For me, my LP is too short (only about 9 days), and I just started taking B6 this cycle.
My main question is: Have you noticed after taking it that your LP has extended? I just wanted to see if this is something that really works! I don't know any other way to find out if this is a proven theory!

Yeah - you know, I always hear that this is the "remedy" and maybe even taking progesterone, but I've never heard that it works or doesn't work, just that people take it.
Would taking Clomid be something to make you ovulate sooner? I'm just unfamiliar with really what all Clomid can be used for.

It may have helped me a little, but there are too many variables to know. My shortest LPs were when I came off the pill. I started taking B6 and they increased by 1 or 2 days, but that may have been normal hormonal changes post b/c and then post m/c. But even though my LP is longer, I still get spotting very early on.
So, no major props for B6 from me.
i had 2 cycles of a 9day LP. during the 2nd cycle i started taking 100mg of B6. and the 3rd cycle i had a 12-13 day LP and it hasn't been less than that since. just make sure you take it continuously throughout your cycle and don't be discouraged if you don't see a difference this cycle it may take a cycle or 2 to help.
GL!
Clomid can be used to treat LPD. It's not so much a matter of making you O sooner, but of encouraging a stronger O with better progesterone production.

this as well. my shortest LP's were right after coming off BC. and i do have spotting for about 4 days before af arrives. i'm also taking vitex to see if that helps w/ the spotting issues. we shall see.

Just wanted to let you know , for me, it messed up my cycles.
The first month it seemed to work (went from a 9 day lp after m/c to 14)
but then the following 2 cycles i ovulated a week later and post ov temps were really wacky. it think it messed with my balance of hormones...just be careful and keep an eye on how your body reacts. I posted about it somewhere else and there were two other women that reacted oddly to it too.
