I use Fantastic Oxy Clean spray (it's in a blue bottle) for spit up on the rugs/couch. It is safe for fabrics, and doesn't have a chemical smell. Or some baking soda mixed w/ a small amout of dish soap and warm water should do the trick.
I asked on here about the best method for getting rid of the mess/smell out of carpeting, I was concerned because I felt like G would have her nose in at as she was crawling around so I didn't want to use something really harsh.
KAC (I think) recommended Natures Miracle from the pet store (it's for pet accidents)- it did the trick for our carpet. I can say from my carpet experience my go to mixture of viniger/baking soda did not work as well but it might just have been becaue of the type of fibers.
