Help - Question about Glycerin Suppositories!

If you have used them on your baby, did you get the Child version "2 to 5" years?  I have checked CVS, WalGreens and Wal-Mart this morning and there is no Infant version.  The one I found is Fleet Pedia-Lax "Liquid Glycerin Suppositories" - child rectal applicators.  Is this it?  My Pediatrician said we could use glycerin suppositories, but didn't specify if this was the one.  I want to make sure.  The box says if under 2 consult doctor, so I am assuming this is it.  I desperately need to relieve DS.

Re: Help - Question about Glycerin Suppositories!

  • My doc told me to get the adult kind (it's a white and green container), and break them in half.
  • Loading the player...
  • You can use the liquid... it's the same just liquid :)

If it's for 2 to 5 I'd only use about half the liquid, should do the trick!

  • Ok - got that little tube in there and squirted in the liquid glycerin... it worked like a charm!  This stuff is The Bomb, literally!  DS filled 3 diapers with goo :)  Hooray.  He is a different baby now!  It enabled him to push 2 days worth out in seconds!

  • I found the infant suppositories at Walgreens, right in the baby aisle.
