So I didn't realize that my good friend from work could see my status on The Bump. Her and I were both in ttc mode, so I knew she'd be thrilled when I told her the news, but I obviously wanted to tell her in person.
Well, The Bump told her before I could! I guess she clicked on my profile to see if I added anything interesting since January, and low and behold, there it was.... "erinjerin Due December 4"
I instantly got a text message late last night reading, "December 4th? Is there something you need to tell me?" I could not believe that she had to find out this way!! I called her immediately and said, "You were not supposed to see that! I had a plan to tell you in person!!"
Anyway, for those of you who have friends on The Knot, The Nest, or The Bump, double check that your status is private so your good friends don't find out via the internet that you're expecting! I hadn't realized that my profile actually said my due date on it! My bad ;(
