Ventolin question

Does anyone have to give their child Ventolin for asthma? If so, I am curious to see if any of your children go 'hyper' after it? Once Coop has his (just prescribed to him 2 days ago!) for the next hour or so there is just no way of getting him down to sleep. He is usually such a great sleeper/napper so it's quite a reality check for us. Just told DH we will be starting to give it to him when he wakes up from now on I think!!

Hailey is on a different inhaler, but her's does the same thing. We give it to her when she wakes up usually after about 10 min.

I don't know what I took as an infant, but as a child I think I always took albuterol, and it makes me jumpy.  It still makes my heart race as an adult...I hate that jittery feeling!
