Just wanted to share -- video of flooding in RI

This news story was shot about 20 minutes from our house.  Thank goodness all we're dealing with is some water in our basement and a few closed streets!  There were a ton of schools closed today, which I've never heard of before -- closed due to RAIN??

    Yikes! That is nuts!

    One time when I was living in Alaska, school was closed due to wind.  It was freaking awesome as a high school student!!

    Oh my goodness!  I feel like I must have been in a bubble the last few days...I had no clue this was even happening.  I'm glad you're safe and sound and hope it all clears up soon.

    Jill...we made the national news tonight, too! It was on the NBC nightly news.

    My MIL is a teacher in Warwick and they've already cancelled school for tomorrow! Crazy!
