Oh, had my first doc appt today.

I'm excited because they have evening hours so I won't have to miss very much work if I plan it right. My doctor is super understanding and the NP today said that if I have the same issues as last time with hyperemesis they have no problem putting me out of work if need be. I feel relieved by that but hoping it won't get as bad this time.

Also, I found out I MAY be able to do a VBAC. I thought they told me they don't do them, but they said that since i'll be so close to two years between births that they may consider it. Not quite sure how I feel about that, but I always dreamed of a natural birth and I know I can tolerate labor from last time so I'm kind of hoping the doctor will at least give me the option.

    It was great. I really thought i'd get "ok, you've done this before..pee in the cup and give us your blood..here's some papers and have a nice day." 

    It wasn't like that at all. She remembered me and Dh and was excited for us and totally made me feel comfortable and excited about going through pregnancy and childbirth again. I don't think they did evening hours last time so this is really cool.

    I was so glad that my Ob and peri had late hours.  I didn't have to miss any work for apmts... just for my 3 hour glucose.

    I'm hope they are able to give you the birth experience you want!

    Nope, same OB. I thought the hospital said they didn't to VBACS but it's my same doctor that delivered Ryan and he DOES do them at that hospital.
