PCP or OB? or wait until tomorrow? (both services have an on-call dr at this hour)

i have HORRIBLE diarrhea now. its started last night and it lasted about 30 min then went away. all of a sudden about 45 minutes ago i started getting really bad stomach pains, cramping, sweating then BAM ive been running back and forth to the toilet for 45 minutes. its completely watery and mucus like-nothing solid is coming out of my ass right now. just goo.

i went to the OB yesterday afternoon because i was having really bad BH and she wanted to see me. when she saw me she checked my BP and cervix-it was all normal

I totally had that at 17 weeks.  Miserable!  They told me to follow a BRAT diet for a few days: Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast.  It helped within a day.

I'd call the OB if I were you.

i don't speak from experience on this one, but if it were me I'd call the OB.  My thought being they might want you to go to the e.r. for fluids.

I had that problem when I was about 30 weeks along.  I called my ob and he told me to follow the BRAT diet and said I could take Kaopectate.  I felt better in a couple days but I would call to be safe.

lots of fluid...collect a sample and ill see you in the morning.

if there is any blood or it lasts more than 2 hours go to the ER
