I spell my name Caitlin. It doesn't really matter, though ? any way you spell it, it will be constantly misspelled.

It sort of depends if you want it to read as an Irish name that was popular in the 1980s or an American invention of the 1990s-2000s. Caitlin is an Irish name mispronounced by Americans, Keightlynne is an American creation that bears very little resemblance to the Irish ancestor.

I know Caitlin is more "traditional," but I prefer the spelling Katelyn.

I don't think it matters how it's spelled, though, because someone will always misspell it.

I love the name Caitl?n, when it's pronounced properly.

As for the American name, my favourite spelling is Katelyn.

Lol!  My dh and I have this arguement often.  Kaitlyn is one of our girl name picks and he wants it Caitlyn, I want it Kaitlyn.  And now we're kinda debating about using it because my name is Kayla and I think they might sound too similar...  Kayla and Kaitlyn.
