when flying with ticketed kids...

do you use your car seat on the plane? or check it at baggage?

we are def taking Addie's stroller and gate checking it, I'm trying to figure out if we drag the seat through the airport. i thought you had to but someone told me today they don't use it on the flight.

I would check it with your other baggage, unless you plan to actually use it on the plane (some people like using the carseat just to control the child, instead of corralling them in their seat).  I would recommend a bag or something to go over it,just in case a piece falls off - otherwise, they will lose things.  Not sure if you have to pay the extra $$ for it to check, though (vs. gate checking).

Cover it in a garbage bag, label it and check it.  So much easier.  Kohen and Kamryn did very well on the 11 hour flight (yikes) with just a seat belt.  Take a portable DVD player and other busy activities.
