Trying to save money..

I found a slightly used baby jogger and high chair on craigslist, I told DH and he was surprised I wasn't demanding new ones. I have to admit I'm not good at shopping smart or saving money but DH is the pro. Often money is the source of our arguments..anyways I asked him when he got off work to go with me to check em out since I didn't know where I was going and who I was meeting with. His answer was No I'm tied go by yourself and bring you knife. WTF? First of all I'm not a gangsta I don't need to shank anyone and why wouldn't he want to go with me!? Obviously this discussion turned into an argument and I ultimately told the people I wasn't going to buy the stuff anymore. I'm so mad I let him get to me about that, but I'm so darn stubborn and I wasn't going alone so I decided not to buy them. I told DH he can buy them full price now. Ha.Yes I'm being a brat about it but I don't care. Just had to share my frustration

Haha! Men are just so thoughtful arent they!? When I found our glider chair on Craigslist DH thought I was insane "We arent buying something from some random people." Well, after driving by what turned out to be like a mansion, DH realized it was ok to purchase the glider. It was maybe used 10 times and the older couple sold it to us for $50! I told DH, many normal people buy/sell on Craigslist! Lol My suggestion for you is to just drive by the place before you actually set an appointment with them! That way if it looks crumby you can change your mind without feeling guilty!

That sucks he wont' go with you. I got half my baby stuff on craigslist. DH was forced to go every time: especially on the 40 mile drive to get a Bugaboo for $250.
